Airworthiness Directives
This database provides all FAA Airworthiness Directives (ADs) that are still in effect, and many ADs that are no longer in effect (historical). You can search for ADs, or view them listed by AD Number or Make/Model, where the Make is the Type Certificate Holder. To ensure you get accurate results when looking for applicable ADs on a particular aircraft model, also search for the installed engine, propeller, and appliances.

Full Electronic Distribution of ADs
We no longer use postal mail to notify the public of new ADs. Notification is now only via an email subscription service through GovDelivery. Click here to subscribe (or modify your subscription) to receive ADs and SAIBs for your type-certificated products. (Help)
Exception: We will continue to distribute Emergency ADs using postal mail for the foreseeable future.
For those desiring paper copies, we provide the AD Biweekly, which is a two-year, paid subscription of all ADs issued in the Federal Register over 2-week periods. The AD Biweekly is printed and mailed by the Government Printing Office (GPO) and does not include SAIBs. Contact the GPO directly at phone: (202) 512–1806 to subscribe.
Microsoft Access Database
We now provide a MS Access database containing all Airworthiness Directives data from our system. We will update it near the beginning of every month.
The ZIP file was updated August 2nd, 2021. The database is created with Microsoft Access 2016.
